How to study at KUG

This guide is a service provided by the Study Center and contains all of the important information that you will need for your studies at the University of the Arts in Graz / Kunstuniversität Graz (KUG).

 

The section "Before your studies" is directed above all towards interested and prospective students. You will find here information about what kind of studies are offered at KUG, about KUG itself and its locations, about admission procedures as well as admission requirements for foreign students, the costs and other relevant matters for guest students as well as foreign students. This section is edited by the Welcome Center.

 

The section "Starting your studies" is directed above all towards beginning students. You will find here information about enrollment/date of registration, accommodation possibilities in Graz, your email access as well as the campus management system KUGonline, the organization of the academic year, important terms involving your studies, and similar matters. This section is edited by the Welcome Center.

 

The section "Während des Studiums" (During your studies - mainly in German) is directed above all towards KUG students. You will find here information about the orchestra courses offered at KUG (in English), about study periods abroad, studying & working, financial support, scholarly/artistic work, and much more. 

 

The section "Ende des Studiums" (Finishing your studies - German only) is directed above all towards students who are almost at the end of their studies. Currently, you will find here information about relevant application forms and what you need to do after your final exam. At present, the contents of this section are still being updated on a continual basis.

 

The section "Nach dem Studium" (After your studies - German only) is directed above all to graduates. You will find here information about further studies at KUG, about offers of support for your job search, and about ways of keeping in touch with KUG even after your studies have been completed.
